My journey spans over 25 years across Telecommunications, IT, and Scientific Research, bridging deep technical understanding with strategic project execution. My current focus is on leading and delivering impactful AI/ML solutions, leveraging a unique analytical perspective honed during my background as a Physicist.

This foundation in Physics instilled a rigorous analytical mindset and a deep-seated approach to problem-solving through research and modeling, evident in my early work in Experimental Physics. (Optional: Add link to Publications page here later)

Transitioning into technology, I spent decades leading complex IT and Telecommunications projects for major international clients like Telefónica, Telus, and Sprint. I have extensive experience managing the full project lifecycle using both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, successfully coordinating technical (IT/Engineering) and functional (Marketing, Product) teams, including geographically dispersed and offshore resources (up to 12 members for clients like Verizon).

My experience includes defining standards, implementing tools like Jira for project management and issue tracking, managing stakeholders effectively, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions. I spearheaded IT standards implementation in government ministries and managed complex software deployments and integrations across North and Latin America.

Now, I am sharply focused on applying this diverse background to the AI/ML field. With hands-on experience in Python, Generative AI (LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG), Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Computer Vision (OpenCV), and development frameworks like Flutter and React, combined with professional certifications including the IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate, I offer a blend of strategic oversight and practical technical capability. I founded and managed a technology services company (Vos Caquila Services Inc.) delivering remote PM and development services.

I thrive on understanding complex systems – scientific or technological – and translating that understanding into tangible business outcomes. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I am committed to continuously mastering new tools and techniques within the rapidly evolving AI landscape, passionate about contributing cutting-edge developments to the tech ecosystem.
